Description

The new standard for park performance.

New Standard isn't just a catchy name. With this design, Endeavor set out to change the way snowboards are made. Slightly wider than the average deck, the New Standard features a Dow-Tech 2 profile that makes it stable but loose, aggressive but playful, and forgiving with a ton of pop.

The Dow-Tech 2 profile is completely flat for a stable ride and easy turn initiation, but with the contact points raised 3mm to give it the loose, catch-free feel of a rocker board without sacrificing edge hold or pop. Biax 2 glass keeps it flexible enough for throwing down on rails and boxes, while a carbon beam running down the middle of the board adds pop to help you boost off jumps. Rubber inlays in the sidewalls damp vibrations for a smooth ride, and the wood core adds liveliness. The durable sintered base is fast and retains wax well to ensure you have enough speed to clear the big jump all day long.

The first child of the Archetype R&D Lab, the goal was simple: to create a completely new style of board that is stable yet loose, aggressive yet fun and soft yet poppy. Wider than the average deck, this board is designed to be ridden 3-4cm shorter than the typical board. The brand new Dow-Tech 2 technology will make sure that it will never hook an edge.
