It’s actually not too much to ask for a super lightweight, technical trail running shoe that didn’t stomp all over the environment while being made. End (EnvironmentallyNeutralDesign) made the Women’s Stumptown 10oz Trail Running Shoe with a recycled EVA midsole, outsole, webbing, and laces. The lightweight upper construction uses textiles and patterns in place of molded plastic to eliminate unnecessary materials, and the upper mimics the shape of your foot so you can maintain a natural flex.
Bottom Line: Afoot and lighthearted.

They were great the first month or two, but then the seams came undone and the heel backs broke, and fraying stated to occur... wish the shoe quality was as good as it's company's mission.

These shoes are well made, well designed, the price is excellent. Too bad for me that the shape didn't work for my boxy-shaped, wide feet. Had to return them.

I bought these trail runners with the intention of trail hiking in Yosemite. But wanted to break them in sooner so we went for a local hike. The grip on these shoes are great. And they're nearly weightless. It took a looong time for me to find these shoes. I'm extremely picky about style when it comes to trail runners and this is actually the first and only pair I've bought so far. I really like that the shoes are made from recycled materials too. You wouldn't know this whatsoever, not reading it beforehand. Owning these shoes definitely make me want to be more active! Oh and the sizes run true. I wear a 7, ordered a 7 and it fit perfectly!

They are really lightweight and I love the colour. I'd say they fit a bit big, but don't slip. My feet are wide and these are more than comfortable and can accommodate a heavier sock, too.
