When I get done with work, I'm looking to put these puppies on as soon as possible, and kick back in front of the woodstove. I spend all day on my feet at work, and then I spend a lot of time trailrunning, so I feel the need to pamper my feet. These slippers do exactly that. I cannot believe how warm they are.

Just purchased these and have initial impressions. So far so good. The quality of these are incredible. They are super comfortable and keep your feet really warm. I like how the sole is designed so that you can go outside even if there's snow or rain. I did already spill a few drops of liquid from a drink or something and they came right out. The material seems to clean very easily. Overall a very high quality, comfortable slipper. I would recommend this item. I'm size 9-9.5 and the size 9 worked perfectly for me. Pretty true to size.

No doubt these are some of the warmest and most comfortable things my feet have ever seen. The only downfall is they are pricey for a slipper. You can occasionally sneak them into the bar and nobody will notice ;)

I decided to get these slippers because my wife got a pair of the Emu Stingers and I saw how comfortable they looked. Th slippers are quite comfortable, but they do not seem to be made with the same quality sheepskin as the boots are made from... it is not as plush. If it matters to anyone these are not Australian made like the boots, they are Made in China (what isn't made there these days). If Backcountry gets the Emu men's Stinger Mini's in stock, I will be considering returning these slippers and exchanging them for the Stingers as they seem like they would make a much more comfortable slipper.

As for the size, I am typically between an 8-9 depending on the brand of shoe. Everyone on here that said the slipper ran on the small side had me nervous but I went with an 8 and they are actually a little loose (but a smaller size wouldn't fit.) So IMO I would say they are true to size.

I work for EMU, and the difference is that the Bubba's are not made out of sheepskin. It's a high quality Australian Merino wool lining with a suede outer. This gives it more durability than the Aussie Made stingers with the same great sole unit.

Any ideas when these will be back in...

Any ideas when these will be back in stock?

Also, if I wear a 10.5, should I go 10 or 11?

As far as the inventory question goes, those types of questions can tend to linger here for a while. Your best bet is to click on the "Chat Now" link to get in though with a BC rep. All the EMU I have ever owned have run a bit small, so I would go with 11.

Well, I just purchased a pair of these as a gift for a 72-year-old friend of mind who's diabetic and suffers from feet that are always cold. He LOVES THESE SLIPPERS!! Since putting them on for the first time last night, his own words are that his feet are "toasty warm!" And although he normally wears a men's size 11, I got him a size 12 to give him adequate toe room. He says they're a perfect fit. A happy camper indeed!!

Like the title says. The fur on the inside does a good job of keeping the feet warm and cozy. It's even a little tough to get them waterlogged. They run a bit big some if you are between sizes go ahead and go to the smaller size.

Others have commented that the Emu Bubba slippers run a bit "small" at first because of the thickness of the sheepskin pile inside, though they eventually loosen up a little. Does it all depend on (1) how new they are or (2) where one purchases the slippers (e.g. Amazon vs. Backcountry)? I am concerned because the one I'm buying the shoes for is diabetic and his toes should not be pinched snugly or rubbed inside the slipper but there should be room around his toes.
