was glad i read reviews before buying - ordered to the smaller size and they fit perfect. like them ALOT! backcountry had a great price and they came fast!
Wanted to save some money and for sure these boots cost less than . . . well you know. I wear and 8 1/2 - 9 shoe and ordered an 8. They are a bit to big and very wide. On the upside, they are very warm and I received them in record time.
I have not worn them in the snow yet per no snow in my area, but I have sprayed them with water repelent and worn them in the rain and frost and they were so warm and still look brand new. I have also walked in them with the dog and they are sooooo comfortable. I love them. No need for socks they are toasty.
We bought these for our daughters. Yes, they run a tad large for the size, but that was just fine four our growing girls' feet. The boots are toasty warm and even when they get a little wet on the outside, no water seems to get to the inside. You might want to waterproof them. Our girls are very happy, but say they wished they had ordered the cleaning kit, since the boots get a little bit dirty (after a week of wear) - salt stains from walking around on city sidewalks.
D0 the EMU Bronte lo boot come in wide widths? I'm having knee replacement surgery and feel these will get me to and from rehab in Jan & Feb. Please respond, I need a wide or extra wide.
Don't waste your money on those other name brand boots. Emu's are made in Australia from the same high quality materials! This is the best price I've found anywhere... and I look. You can't beat the service at BackCountry. My daughter received these for Christmas and loves them. They do run a little big. She usually wears a 6, but I ordered a 5 in these and they fit perfectly w/regular socks.
I do not disagree with you comments about quality and comfort of the EMU Australia boots and the lining is made from 100 percent Australian merino wool however they are made in China. It states this on this site and many others.
Write your comment here..I have to say thank you. I spend hrs. comparing things, reading reviews, checking prices. You are the first one that mentioned the type of sock! You always think about a 1/2 size to a full size on either side of the spectrum wondering about what socks you are going to wear. Thank you!
Love these boots but had to return them for a smaller size. I usually wear an 8.5 and I thought I was taking everyone's advice going small and getting an 8, but they still looked huge one me. had to go to a 7. Fit's great! feels great. Perfect to wear with skirt on a slightly chilly day. and half the price of Uggs. So glad I found these! Shipped fast even with the free shipping offer. I love Backcountry.com!!
I would always get a bigger size with these boots. Your going to be wearing socks, one. And two, these dont bend at first that well. I would say go 1/2 bigger.
I have MS and it is almost impossible to find comfortable foot wear. These boots are so incredibly PERFECT! I wore them to my son's wedding. They are beautiful and work dressed up or casually dressed. I would love them in every color.
These boots are really comfy and I love to wear that! My only complaint is that there's NO support at all. I'm not sure I could do a ton of walking in them - but so far they've been fine. I don't know if any other cushioned boots like this would have support either.
This has to be the best thing I bought in years. They are the most comfortable boots out there. I did purchase a size smaller then what I normally wear and they are perfect. I will be ordering another pair!!
Of course my daughter has wanted the $$$ boots but... These looked great, she says they are very comfortable- a bit softer to the sole than the expensive ones. Her usual size is a 9.5 so I went down to the next number-9- and they fit her great. Ordering was very easy and package came when expected. I would definitely order again.
