The Qubo Power Mag's steel frame features a wide footprint to enhance stability, a Fast Fixing Clamping mechanism for getting bikes on and off the trainer easily, and quick folding for storage behind the couch or in the closet. Elite's Crono system relies on rider weight to push the wheel against the roller, which allows weight to factor into the speed/power equation for a more realistic road simulation than traditional static pressure trainers. This system also lets the Qubo Power Mag accommodate wheel sizes as small as 20 inches and as large as 29 inches. Elite uses an Elastogel roller in the Qubo Power Mag to address the pesky problems of noise and tire wear that plague so many trainers. Made out of a special cast polyurethane elastomer, Elastogel has high resistance to wear and minimal permanent deformation under pressure. Compared to standard metal rollers, Elite claims that the Elastogel reduces noise by 50% and tire wear by 20% while increasing tire grip for a slip-free spin. This means that you won't get in as many fights with your neighbors over trainer noise and you'll save some money on tires along the way.

The "Smart" designation in the title means the Qubo Power Mag comes packaged with a Misuro Blu speed and cadence sensor equipped with Bluetooth Smart protocol, eliminating the need for extra sensors on your bike. The Misuro Blu mounts directly to the trainer and is compatible with the My E-Training App to track workout data on iOS and Android devices. Compatible iOS devices include iPhone 4S or higher, iPad 3 or higher, iPod Touch 5th generation or higher, and compatible Android devices include OS 4.3 or higher.
