The Element Langson Boot hails from Element's Emerald Collection, a series of footwear created for those who dare to take a step back and realize their style and taste have evolved. In the Langson, we see a coming of age represented by full-grain leather, cork and high-density EVA midsole, unwavering attention to detail throughout, and, in typical Element fashion, environmentally aware construction and labor practices.

  • Full-grain leather and waxed Cordura upper keep the Langson durable for work in addition to a polished hard-leather finish suitable for heading out
  • Durable Vibram lugged outsole resists slipping in all directions with a sticky, wear-resistant compound and a pronounced lug pattern
  • High-density EVA midsole reduces the overall weight of the boot while providing firm support
  • Cork midsole layer is lightweight and highly renewable and it is produced without damage to the tree it hails from; natural characteristics of cork include static resistance, breathability, moisture management, and even insulating properties
  • Gusseted tongue doesn't slide around and seals out rocks and debris from entering into the boot
  • Waxed Cordura (ballistic nylon) quarter panel helps to shave weight off the boot without sacrificing durability
  • Quilted lining provides plush internal comfort for hard-working feet
  • Medium padding on tongue and collar provide a just-right amount of cushioning, allowing you to wear any thickness of sock

Great boots, not for me

I got these in my size and they didn't fit well. They moved in heel cup and had room in the toe. Also the ankle portion of the boot was really loose. I suggest sizing down but my other element boots fit me fine. Otherwise really cool looking boot, just fit funny

I see what you are saying with the fit. Fortunately I always buy my winter boots about a half size down just because I like them to fit a little more snug. That being said, I am super stoked with these. They have been killing it up in the mountains and can't wait for there to be more snow to tromp around in.

Is it warm? Good for cold winter?

    Hey Alexey,

With the full grained leather, high ankle and quilted liner, these boots would be pretty good for most temps the average individual would be subject to in the winter. Now I am not saying I would wear these for a Northern Alaska expedition but they should be fine for an upstate New York Christmas vacation, especially paired with a nice pair of thermal socks.
