Low Profile, Stylish

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

These glasses look great, and they're super light weight. They have a classic look to them, and they're not nearly as oversized as a lot of glasses on the market today. The lenses aren't polarized, but they're still standard Electric quality.

Sun-Kissed Long-Butts

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

These are by far the greatest shades Zack Morris has ever worn. They have the classic throw back style without making you look like every other chump out there. There also perfect for checking out the surf and the occasional sun-kissed long-butt at the Malibu Sands Beach Club.

Smooth, classic style without bulk

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Frames are tight in the matte black color. These have a throwback style without the bulk of the classic "wayfarer" design. Clean, smooth, and the perfect compliment to a ballcap or three piece suit.

Frames show some excessive wearing on nose contact points, but other than that they've held up like champs.

Nice smaller looking frame

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:Runs small

The hardknox has the smaller look to the frame, still a smooth looking style and looks great with several different colors, Italian made frames and awesome lens quality. Would recommend for a smaller face.

I just bought these, they say they were...

I just bought these, they say they were made in china opposed to italy. Is this correct?

also noticed that the glasses are now are marked " made in china". I was pretty disappointed to see that, especially b/c i was just bragging to my friend that the glasses are worth the 100 dollars EASILY b/c they are made in italy!! They sill have undeniable styling and appear to have all the same parts/ assembly as my pair from 2009. But my pair from 2009 is clearly marked "made in italy" and I know I'm not the only one who is turned off by the new point of production

are these pretty wide?

are these pretty wide?

Best Answer

Temple to temple these run 144mm's across, that's moderate to wider than most frames actually. The 6 base curve hugs them to your face though. Electric classifies these as a type 2 lens size, which is bigger than say the EC/DC's but smaller than the Leads. For big faces they will comfortable. Speaking of big faces- time to count all my hundreds of dollars I have in my wallet, catch ya later...

I pretty much love these glasses but I...

I pretty much love these glasses but I just want to know if you can see through the lens to the eyes of the person wearing them or not? Thank you.

They are not an opaque or mirrored. They are fairly dark and your eyes will be hidden from people unless there is direct light on you. These show through in these pictures due to a camera flash, they will be much darker. Holla.
