When other goggles feel like racehorse blinders, slip on the Electric EG2 and open your eyes to the world. The EG2's massive dual spherical lens increases your range of vision, presenting the entire mountain as it was meant to be seen and giving you improved depth perception and reaction time. Anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings keep you riding fast and looking good, while contoured wicking face foam comforts your sensitive mug.
These things have very minimal obstruction of vision, fit great, and make for great mirror photo ops haha. Took them up some peaks in Bolivia and they rocked!
Great looking goggles, large field of vision, and lenses are top notch. Unfortunately if you have a small bridge on your nose, they don't fit. That and only that was the reason I had to return them, and Backcountry processed my return easily & promptly.

I love these goggles, they are soooo steezy. My favorite feature of the goggle is the size of the goggle. With other goggles I feel that I can always see the frames at the edge of my periphery and because of this I feel a tad bit limited as far as sight goes. Not with the EG2's, even if I'm looking as far to the side as I can I can't see the frame! The lens is that huge! The anti-fog anti-scratch coating works exactly as advertised. I wish these goggles weren't so awesome so that I could be the only one on the hill with a pair, but they truly are all that and then some so get ready to see plenty of other people wearing them this season!
I have a pretty big face so I thought these might be the ticket, but are they going to be to big for a brimmed helmet like a Giro Seam or Smith Variant Brim?
you will be fine, I have a large face and wear the smith varient with these. They sit a little low on my nose, but this is due to the size of the goggle not the helmet. It is a good fit.
These are like going from a mid 80's tube magnovox to a 1080p HD 60 inch tv. The lens rock, and I love the large view you get from the style, you can hardly see the frame. I hope they last. The foam is a little scrathy, but no prob.
Hi guys. Could you tell me if in Lime/ Bronze-Gold Chrome and in Neff/ Bronze-Blue Chrome the lens is transparent... I am not talking about seeing good in those goggles but when you have them on is it possible for somebody else to see your eyes? Basically like a mirror lens? Thank you
i love these goggles love them the only thing that i can nock them for is because they're so big on those really hot days in the spring they fog up real easy but a little cat crap and your good to go
I wear a brown Giro Encore2 helmet, and although it makes me look like a MiG fighter pilot when i'm wearing them, it also tends to exacerbate the "nose plugging" problem the other reviewer mentioned. If i want to breath out my nose, I have to push the goggles up off my nose and push my helmet up--this makes it so that the goggle is mostly on my forehead, which seems like a lot of wasted space.
Although I have a difficult time breathing out of my nose with these goggles, my vision is unparalleled. Huge spherical lenses = stellar peripheral vision. Their size also seem to help with fogging, too. When they do fog (usually every other time I hit the mountain) it disappears pretty quickly after I start moving down the hill--the vents are large enough to allow air in to kill the fog.
They look great, and you can see great out of them--if i could give them 4.5 stars i would (for the nose-plug issue) but they're fantastic goggles.
So after much research, I thought I had found the perfect goggle. I used to hate how other goggles restricted the field of view and these goggles seemed to take care of that. I could not believe how big they were when I got them. However, when i tried them on, the bottom part squeezed my nostrils and I could not breathe well. The view was fantastic but it just wasn't too comfortable. Although i didn't get to ski with them, because i returned them, I left them on for a while when I received them just to see if the size would bother me after a while. I had to keep moving them up to be able to breathe better. I also tried them on with my helmet and with it, I couldn't even adjust them to place them higher on my face because the front of the helmet would prevent that. After a while, the fact that the bottom vents were so close to my lips, made my breath fog up the lenses, and that was the final factor that made me decide to return them. They would be great if i had a bigger face, i guess.
The wide field of vision is like no other google. I bought these googles beginning of last season and they are still killing it. They don't fog, I can see all around, making nice when whirly birding thru the air!
Best goggles I have ever worn. Never fog up and the peripheral vision is unmatched by any other goggle. I used to wear Anon goggles and I thought they were the best because they never fog, but compared to the EG2's the Anon feel like you have blinkers on your face like a race horse. Best part is not too many people wear them on the mountain and everyone notices the huge frames on your face. They definitely stand out on the hill.
I really like these goggles for there...lens polyura-whatever and the anti-fog...stuff. Okay, honestly I don't care about any of the technical spec crap about goggles. Really I think we've reached the summit of goggle technology. But these frames stand out in one distinct way: they look sick! The huge lenses make me feel like I'm throwing on one of those sweet fighter pilot helmets ready for some Top Gun-like snow slaying. And just like in Top Gun, I know these goggles will definitely pave the way for some steamy bed-time antics with one of the hot snowboard chicks in the tram line.
Great looking goggles, large field of vision, and lenses are top notch. Unfortunately if you have a small bridge on your nose, they don't fit. That more...
I love these goggles, they are soooo steezy. My favorite feature of the goggle is the size of the goggle. With other goggles I feel that I can always see more...
