Built to get you far and away from the crowds in pursuit of the soft stuff, the Wave Rider employs some Elan's most elite technology stories like Floating Rocker, V2R sidewalls, and the work-horse Warp 8 base.

• Floating Rocker features a powder-specific rockered tip for float and flat camber in the tail to maintain power and edge control
• Carbon-KEVLAR® 90 Beam cranks up the board's torsional stability without adding weight
• G70 Fiberglass laminate provides a freeride specific snap while still being able to flex easy when you want
• V2R Sidewalls use a softer, more dampening compound along just along the nose and tail, for durability and smoother turn initiation
• Omega sidecut enhances control and energy transfer by blending a straight sidecut into thew round nose and tail, reducing their widest point while keeping the board's waist width the same
• Control Plus core uses a responsive and lightweight blend of poplar and aspen wood with resilient beech stringers for added reinforcement
• Warp 8 base is a highly porous, stone ground sintered base with a molecular mass to retain wax, take some hits, and carry speed
