Named for the highest peak on Mars, the Elan Olympus Mons brings out-of-this-world performance to cosmic powder days and down-to-Earth, everyday resort conditions alike. The versatile 110mm-waist floats like an astronaut in soft snow and sticks landings better than NASA in its heyday. Elan designed the Olympus Mons with slight tip-rocker and traditional camber underfoot to smooth out variable conditions without sacrificing carving know-how and rocket ship responsiveness. The generous sidecut and twin Titanal Aluminum sandwich construction help this ski lay tracks in everything from zero-g powder to bulletproof space-ice.

Bottom Line: Blastoff.

Hey,

It is indeed just the ski...the picture was just pulled from the manufacturer probably, not sure why they show it with a binding.

used these in a very average aussie winter, blue skies, groomed hardpack in the morning and very slushy in the arvo. I was very suprised and happy at how well these ski's handled the crap conditions. they start to chatter a bit when you push them really hard on hardpack but other than that there were no dramas at all. very happy with them and can't wait to try them in some fresh powder cheers

Wondering what the running length of the 183cm ski is, with the Resort Rocker? Will it ski more like a 175cm ski as a result? I'm 5'10" and about 190 lbs. Is this the length I should consider to ski mostly pow and crud - are they good for tight spots? Are they 'surfy'-floaty skis, which I prefer? Thanks.

found some good threads over on the TGR forum. Just plug in Elan 1010 after clicking on the search button. The forum is the Tech Talk one. It will take you right there. Some good reviews also over on the Epic ski forum. Good luck. I love mine and they are the prior year version w/o the early rise tip rocker.
