Too short for a tall girl
- Size Bought: 10
I've read that Eider's pants tend to be great for taller folks, but these pants definitely are not long enough for me. Otherwise, they fit great (see height and size info below) and I love the shape at the hips/waist but I'll stick to Salomon for better length.
warm, fit great and comfy
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size

It's been pretty cold this year and I needed a new pair of insulated pants. I tried quite a few and settled (happily) on these. They are super comfortable on.
They fit really well. The waist is fairly high so your lower back stays warm and your under layers don't pull out of the top of the pants. The waist is adjustable with side tabs so you can set it exactly how you want it. The hips, butt and leg also fit really well.
The pants are warm. I only need a light underlayer under them on cold days and they're waterproof.
They don't have a vent at the bottom but regardless, they fit nicely over your ski boot, even with my boot heater batteries.
The only thing that could improve them is if they had pockets on the lower leg to keep a few things. The only pockets they have are near the waist but obviously you can't put anything in them without ruining the look of the pants.
Most comfortable ski pant ever
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

This is a well made ski pant. It is more insulated than I thought it would be - I expected more of a soft shell and this is definitely an insulated pant but the 4 way stretch makes it amazingly comfortable. It does not have zip thigh vents or zip boot access so may not be a pant to hike in for your turns, but is a nice pant for front side skiing. I wear a 10 in jeans and went by the sizing chart, ordered a 12 in these. It fit but the waist tab had to be fully tightened, and thighs had plenty of room to wear over a brace. I'm thinking the 10 is the way to go.
Comfortable and flattering!
I love the higher back for snow protection. It even has a flat, light wicking fleece in the waist band to wick away sweat or any rogue snow that finds it's way in. They are warm without being bulky. Love these pants!
You'd think you were wearing yoga pants!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These Eider ski pants with Defender Stretch fabric fit like a dream! They are so comfortable they feel like youâre wearing yoga pants.
I've worn these for two seasons now and have to say I have never had a more comfortable or flattering pair of pants. I can wear them all day and not be dying to pull them off back at the car. That is thanks to the 4 way stretch and pre shaped knees. They just form to your body and are lightweight and breathable (10k waterproof, 20k breathable)
For how supple the fabric is, I've also been impressed with the durability. When I wash them up they still look brand new!
It is definitely a more tailored, close fitting pant- but they are so flattering that youâll be happy to show off your assets while your flying down the slopes.
They have some great comfort features as well like an adjustable waist that is higher in the back to eliminate gapping and provide some protection from snow.
