High Fashion Rain Coat

This jacket has narrow shoulders, short arms, and long torso. I am generally a size small (5'4" 125lbs.) So naturally I thought the size 4 would work perfectly but it was way too tight in the shoulders and arms. I had to return it and go a size up. In the size 4 the sleeves were so short I couldn't straiten my arms when they were in the thumb holes (an AWESOME touch!) The size 6 fits better in the torso; however, the arms are still a little short, when I raise my hands over my head when the jacket is zipped, its tight around my shoulders but, definitely wearable now.



On the plus side the material is quite soft, especially for a waterproof jacket, and feels great on your skin. Its semi breathable and would be a great spring or fall jacket. I have worn it this summer in Utah and Oregon in temps around 85 degrees and it got a little hot. The pockets are very sleek when zipped up, taking away any bulkiness, which makes for a great casual jacket that can be used in the city or in the back country.

I got this jacket last year for mountain biking and hiking and I love it so much it has become my go to rain shell.

First- it's super light weight with a low profile zipper and pockets which is great on the bike. I also like the elliptical waist (slightly longer in back) so rain/mud don't get down my shorts.

I've found it to be very breathable as well.

You can't really tell in the picture but the fabric isn't solid color, it has a very subtle swiss dot pattern. Just a cute feminine touch!
