Cute. Not great for athletic endeavors

    • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
    • Fit:True to size
    • Size Bought: 8

Cute for wearing around town but too short for more active pursuits. I have an average length torso but am a D cup. This hit right at/slightly above the waistband of my jeans. If i raised my arms, it'd ride up above my navel. The fit was good everywhere else, though.
For reference, this has a center-back length of 24" in a size 8 (I called and they helpfully measured for me -- see below -- only they were off by an inch!).
Love the inky blue color. The diagonal stitching of the baffles is also very flattering. Wish I could've kept it.

    The hood makes it

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times
    • Fit:Runs small

I'm not much of a vest person, but I love this one because it's sporty and not too puffy, so I feel like it's more of a fashion piece. Meaning, I've found myself wearing it around the city, not just up in the mountains. Fit is slender and tailored. I typically wear a size 4 in US brands, but wear a 6 in this.

Love the vest, Love the hood

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit:True to size

This is my favorite new vest! I'm a bit of a vest freak..own about 10 of them. I tend to run a bit hot so there are many days my down sweaters or jackets make me too warm...but a fleece is just not enough. So-alas-the vest.

What I love about my new EIDER vest is the really flattering lines of the baffling (stitching of down sections) Rather than straight across they are angled and it gives a very slimming look.

I also love the hood. It's warm and awesome when it's up and when it's down it lays flat and you don't notice it's there. There is still a structured collar so with or without the hood up you can zip it up to your chin.

    So cute!

I'm looking for a warm vest. Is this vest warm enough?

Hi Kathleen. Not sure how warm you're going for or what type of activities you're interested in. It's more of a lifestyle piece, so it's certainly not the WARMEST option. The Yumia Vest is much warmer. http://www.backcountry.com/eider-yumia-light-down-vest-womens?s=a

What is the center back length on a size 8?
