Eider Olan Reversible Down Jacket - Women's - 2010 BCS
Available Colors / Styles
You may have a jacket full of the softest down, but if it\222s in a stiff, bulky shell you can\222t really enjoy it. Eider solved the problem in the Women\222s Olan Reversible Down Jacket by using light, supple Pertex to wrap the cozy 700-fill down insulation. You get great drape and feel, as well as protection from wind, snow and light rain thanks to the shell\222s tight weave and DWR finish. And you get to enjoy it two different ways, thanks to the fully reversible design. Stretchy spandex sleeve cuffs, hem, and hood binding work with the hem drawcord seal out drafts and snow, so you stay toasty and warm in nasty weather. This stylish, functional gem comes with a handy stuff stack, too.
Bottom Line: Two great looks, one wonderful feel.

Best Puffy I own

No doubt about it, this is the best puffy jacket I own, and have ever owned. No exaggeration. Prior to getting this jacket a couple of weeks ago, I had four puffies in my regular rotation: a Cloudveil Down Patrol, an Arc'teryx something-or-other, an Eddie Bauer First Ascent jacket, and a Mountain Hardware expedition weight jacket. This one somehow manages to replace them all. I'm now selling a lot of puffies.
I know. Crazy. How can it replace both a lightweight Eddie Bauer down sweater and a MH 8,000+meter jacket? I don't know. I just know that I does. I ski in bounds with it and am the perfect temperature. It's the puffy I take into the backcountry with me. It's the puffy I wear while belaying ice climbing. And it's the puffy I wear around town when I want to look cute.
In addition to how awesomely warm it is for its weight and bulk is the fact that it fits well. I haven't found any other puffies that come in actual numbered sizes rather than small, medium, large. Being able to get an actual size means the Olan isn't unnecessarily puffing out.
And I love that it's reversible.

Great for cold days in the sun, this 700-fill down puffy featured a burly zipper (common problem area for puffies) and a super-warm hood. Plus, it's reversible, so you don't have to be seen in the same jacket over and over.

Hard to tell from the pics but this jacket has a slim womens cut. it is also not as puffy as I thought it would be. Sent it back right away. Nice construction. pockets on one side only...
Change me.
