    All ta essentials.

When you call in "sick" to lap up a foot of powder, the last thing you want is to actually get sick from layers that don't keep you warm and dry. Slide into the Eider Men's Alta Badia Pant as insurance against this self-fulfilling prophesy. As you drop down into a chute, the two-layer Defender Twill shell fabric blocks snow while remaining breathable so your legs won't get soggy from inside your pant or outside, and the fully taped seams keep wet conditions out. Cormax in the higher back waist area provides a cool, comfortable fit. Other essential features include internal gaiters seal around boots to keep snow out, and the side and thigh pockets hold your important items. The relaxed fit and pre-shaped knees give complete freedom of movement, because, after all, you shouldn't have to battle anything other than your "cold" today. The elasticized waist-belt gives you a snug and comfortable fit so you can ride in comfort until every last powder stash is had.

    Great, basic ski pant

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

These are a great basic ski pant, if you're looking for high quality fabric and construction for a reasonable price. These aren't going to have all the bells and whistles of other higher end pants out there...but they do have all the basic features you need.

-10k/10k waterproof/breathable fabric that is seam sealed and DWR treated. Will keep you warm and dry.

-Preshaped knees for an articulated fit

-Stretch, non-slip gators for over your boot

    -Removable elastic belt

-Cormax in the waist (soft fleece that is WICKING- in case you get either sweaty or let some snow down your back. This will help keep you dry and comfortable)

    -Zippered handwarmer pockets

There is no venting, but the breathability of the fabric will keep you comfortable. It's a classic ski fit- so not tight and not baggy.

All around a great, basic ski pant!

They're lightly insulated- so not going to be REALLY warm on their own. I'd wear a fleece base layer underneath on cold days. The nice thing is they won't be too warm for Spring days! For a more insulated option the EIDER Courmayeur pant is the way to go

Do these pants have protective fabric on the inner cuffs to prevent them from getting cut by my inside ski edges?
