It's heavier than it says...

NOTE: It's 75g/m. Just got it in the mail and that's what it says in the packaging. FYI

I'm shopping for my first rope and couldn't...

I'm shopping for my first rope and couldn't help to wonder: how can this 11mm weigh as little as most 9.4's? What's the catch? I never would have dreamed of going to 11mm, but if weight's not an issue...

Usually a lightweight larger rope has a thinner sheath. Since you're buying your first rope I wonder if you'll be doing a lot of top roping which wears on a sheath a lot more. Also, 11mm doesn't work so well through a grigri and it's on the high end of a lot of ATCs.
