Easton Mountain Products' Si2 Cuben Tent might be the lightest four-season tent out there. Despite its superlight trail weight of 2lb 3oz, the Si2's Cuben Fibers use Dyneema cords to ensure better durability than most superlight tents. Easton laminated the Cuben Fibers in eVent, the same membrane used in top-of-the-line ski jackets for intense waterproofing and comfortable breathability. This eVent membrane ensures protection from winter's weather, while allowing airflow in summer's warm months.

Like the tent itself, Carbon Ion poles shave as much weight as possible without sacrificing any strength whatsoever. There are dual doors for you and your backpacking buddy, and both vestibules are removable to shed even more weight. Mesh panels extend comfort in warmer weather, and internal pole sleeves reinforce the tent's overall longevity in critical conditions. Easton Mountain Products tested this tent in expedition conditions on summits with winds as harsh as 85 miles per hour.
