Unanswered Question

Can anyone help select the Rimrock 3P vs 2P? I'm traveling solo but basically living out of my tent on extended period (3 weeks+) on rock climbing trips, so looking for maximum livability. I've just swapped out my 1.5 man tent for the Rimrock 3P, but it seems, well, too big (although I love it otherwise). Occasionally I'll have a friend need to crash in the tent, so I'm not worried about the summer...but what about come winter? Will all that space be just too much for me to heat if I'm snow camping? Just to note: weight isn't an issue here. Simply worried about the extra space.

According to Easton's website most of their stuff is manufactured in Salt lake, Utah. Can't be positive this tent is as well, but it seems likely.

Awesome 3 person tent

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used this a couple of times and love it. It's a bit more roomy that most 3 person tents but without the added weight. The bright yellow color is nice for when you're stuck in the tent waiting out a storm. Easy to set up and take down. Nice big vestibules over each of the doors. Its worth it at the regular price and a freakin' steal if you can get it on sale.
