Description

Ultralight without compromising stability.

Grab the Easton Mountain Products Kilo Carbon 2 Ultralight Tent for to shed serious pounds off your backpacking load without skimping on stability or waterproof performance. Clocking in at under three pounds, this two-person, three-season tent uses Carbon Ion poles for class-leading, ultra-light performance and strength.

A full mesh body provides ventilation and insect protection during mid-summer months when temps skyrocket and bugs are a major nuisance. In addition, the tent features a vestibule outside its single door for storing gear and footwear under the cover of the included rain fly. Multiple pockets and accessory loops provide functionality for storing and hanging camping gear and accessories.

Using As a Solo Tent

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a great item that I use as a solo tent. I am 6 foot 5 and it would be a little tight to fit two people. I appreciate that you get good strength with so little weight, just a shade over 2 pounds. I haven't camped in wet conditions yet and so look forward to see it hold up in poor weather.

Great tent

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Used this tent for my trekking trip to Torres del Paine in Chile. Incredibly easy to install and pack. Very light. my girlfriend and I had alot of space inside but without backpacks. Highly recomended. worth the money.

are you sure you've got the right tent? I've used the kilo for a few years now, and there's barely enough space for 2 people. Best light weight tent I've seen so far, but there's certainly not any room for gear.
