Kilo Carbon 2 person

This tent failed (pole failure) on the 2nd trip out. Due to the way the pole system is set-up it was impossible to use the pole repair sleeve while out in the woods and therefore, I had to tape sticks to the pole in the middle of a rain storm. Furthermore, the sides of the fly sag immensely in cold weather to the point of touching the side of the tent . The clip that holds the guy wires in place on the fly slowly slip throughout the night adding to the slack. The lack of ventilation causes the condensation to build up and drip on the occupants during the night. While I really enjoyed this tent, these structural problems impeaded the functioning of the tent And were too great to overlook.

    Using As a Solo Tent

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a great item that I use as a solo tent. I am 6 foot 5 and it would be a little tight to fit two people. I appreciate that you get good strength with so little weight, just a shade over 2 pounds. I haven't camped in wet conditions yet and so look forward to see it hold up in poor weather.

Used this tent for my trekking trip to Torres del Paine in Chile. Incredibly easy to install and pack. Very light. my girlfriend and I had alot of space inside but without backpacks. Highly recomended. worth the money.

Does this tent include a footprint? If not, is one available to purchase? Thank you
