Description

Heavy duty, light weight.

If you're looking for more durability than a dedicated race wheel, check out the Easton EA90 SL Clincher Wheel. Leaning more to the heavy-duty side of things, the EA90 SL still slices through the air and spins up quickly, but—thanks to added spokes front and rear—it'll handle heavier loads than race-stock units.

  • Gen-4 rim design features a larger rear depth for greater strength, while the smaller front depth keeps weight down
  • R4 hubs spin freely on cartridge bearings with quality dust seals to ensure long-term durability
  • Sapim double-butted, straight-pull spokes enhance strength and energy transmission
  • Entirely hand-built and acoustically-tuned for perfect tension and roundness

I beat the round out of these but they stayed round. These wheels are solid. Great city wheel. Light enough to spin up fast, but strong enough to survive a beatdown. The aluminum freehub body is bad on witness marks. These would make a great trainning wheel if you can maintain the hub yourself.

None of Easton's Wheels produced after 2008 have rider weight limits.
