Stars on a cloudy night or a way to keep the party alive.

Eagle's Nest Outfitters Twilight Camp Light was the best camp purchase you've made in the past decade (OK, except for those little packets of the hot sauce with the rooster on it). These Christmas-like lights brighten up your campsite at night, whether it's to add a little romance to the air, to keep the party alive with your friends, or to make fake stars for the kids when it's cloudy. These white LED lights can burn for 300 hours on two AA alkaline batteries, so fire 'em up.

    Greatest accessory!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These lights are one of the few novelty items I've purchased, and I absolutely love them! They're very lightweight, give a good amount of light in a tent or road trip-ready truck or van, and the battery life is amazing. Definitely the extra thing you're always happy you brought

    cool lights

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

got these lights to hang up in my tent, and they make your tent the party tent, they put out quite a bit of light, and make it so you dont need a headlight in your tent to stay up and play cards.
not sure who they have putting in the specs on this, but it runs on 3 AAA batteries not the stated 2 AA, FYI.
but these are cool little lights to have around.

    Great for a hippie van

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Gave these as a gift to my little brother for his tent, but he popped them in his new hippie van instead. Here is his review.

"The light cords are a sleek black color that match the night sky. I popped 3 batteries in and all 4 stages worked perfectly. Already have them up in my van and hope to party soon. Only serious problem is that the black carrying case came out of the box covered in what appeared to be white mold or spider eggs, seeing as the product is made in China I can't help but feel scared and itchy. Other than that rad lights, man!"

The new ones are like a disco party.

I have one of the older ones that turned on and off. It was also more of a purplish color than white.

The new white one showed up and it is definitely a white light. What I don't really care for is the seizure inducing blinking mode.

It goes from its brightest solid, to dimmed solid, then to the seizure blink mode and lastly the slow blink mode.

I guess if you want to have a dance party in your tent they got you covered.

      Great ambience while camping

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are great for camping! I usually leave a string attached to my tent fly and it gives off a soft glow when the sun goes down. It's nice because you don't need a headlamp when you get up from sleeping to go to the bathroom...I leave them on all night. 3AAA batteries last FOREVER, I'm still on the original set after 5+ camping trips. Going to get a few more sets to add to the arsenal. I'd highly recommend this as another "soft" light source to keep the lanterns and headlamps off.

      Dazzle the night

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

How cool are ambiance lights? You know the twinkles at backyard parties, or the trees at Christmas time? Like so cool! With the ENO lights you can make any place a party. Dazzle the night with the twighlight camp light! Ive used them at hotsprings, just around the edge.. not waterproof!! Ive used them in my tent to weather a storm, and just to see it glow while we are still out and about.
I cant wait to get more, and hang them around the forest to host a camp site shindig.

      Cheap alternative to a lantern

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have these strung up on the inside of my truck topper. They work quite nice for illuminating the truckbed when I'm looking for something, or when I'm camping in the back of it. They have 4 settings: high, low, strobe, and slower strobe. There isn't much of a difference between the high and the low setting. I haven't had them long enough to say what the battery life is like, but so far so good. These are also really convenient when backpacking. Just string them up in the tent to read or play cards.

      sets the mood

These little guys add some spice to either the next backpacking trip you do or car camping adventure. you might need to be careful how they are packed so they dont turn on in the bag they were stuffed in. i havent run into any issues with them thus far.

        Great when they work

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I would like to not downplay how awesome these lights are or suggest they do not often work. I am THIS close to giving this product 4 stars because I have seen these babies make it through a rain STORM and be okay the next day. I Have however owned more than one set and had the lights go out on me very prematurely. Me and my electronically inclined best friend opened up one of the pairs and found that it looked well put together but were eventually able to find a loose manufacturer connection. This appears to be the case with the second set as well, and though we were able to solder the product and get it to work again , my friend and I agreed that a consumer product should be more solid.

I have sent a communication line to the manufacturer about this issue as the lights are in fact ABSOLUTELY AWESOME when they are on and I am confident that with customer observations and SLIGHT improvements I will be back to change this to a 5 star rating .

Have a couple of the older sets of these lights that are just white and love them, so I thought it would be cool to pick up some of the colored ones.... I ordered one of each color and neither of them work. Took them out of the box and put brand new batteries in them and nothing. The newer design seems cheaper than the older ones as well. With shipping to and from AK it isn't worth my $$ to return them.

        Great campsite accessory

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

For someone who makes saving space and weight a priority to say these are worth having is a big deal. I love them. They're a lot of fun, easy to use and provide just a little bit of light at night when it's needed. Great accessory, great gift.

        Best Camping Accessory

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these last year (although a different model) and they are awesome! They are light, so they won't weigh down your pack and they are super convenient for lighting up your campsite or tent. Much better than trying to get your headlamp to create the right light. Best idea ever!! I don't know why someone hasn't thought of it before!
