If you have a sweet outdoorsy hammock, you really need to have some slapstraps to compliment it. Went camping with a set of these bad boys and it took me less than two minutes to find a prime location and get my hammock set up. I then proceeded to spend 30 minutes trying to help my friend find a spot to set their hammock up without slapstraps, and when we finally settled on a spot, they had to deal with a big ol' pine branch in their personal bubble. Needless to say, they wished they had got a set of these. You should, too.

is there a weight rating for this? I have...

is there a weight rating for this? I have a double hammock and would like to know how much they can hold.

Each strap holds up to 200 pounds. I bought these to use with my double hammock and have not had any problems.

These things make setting up the hammock easy. I don't know what folks mean when they talk about a strap from a hammock hurting a tree. I haven't choked one to death yet. These straps are strong and make setting the hammock possible in some pretty hard spots. Love 'em, beats the mess out of trying to rig the hammock up with 550 cord. Ken

I use these for my Hennessy Hammock. They have a smaller width than the straps provided with my hammock, which causes me some concern about damaging trees (Hammocks are illegal at a bunch of CA National parks I visit because they damage trees). These straps do provide flexibility when hanging, are lightweight, and don't stretch when under tension. Excellent product, but a unnecessary luxury item for the lightweight backpacker.

Pretty basic item, but works like you'd want it to. There are plenty of loops to achieve whatever length you need. They pack pretty small and the included stuff sack is handy.

Much easier to use this to hang the hammock from two trees, than to try and use ropes. Hammock isn’t hanging quite right? Very simple to adjust. Literally sets up in seconds. Holds tight too. You can be relaxing in no time at all.

I've got this thing to sleep in or just to hang around in while everyone else is standing around or sitting on a tree stump.
If you're going to sleep in this, put a little pad down for some back support and much needed warmth. It can be pretty chilly if your sleeping bag isn't warm enough.

Grab the Eagles Nest Slap Straps too. It's a great thing to have.

but it's not. the slap straps are really easy to use, and I have yet to come across a hammock situation where they didn't help make getting the hammock hung up (a very important, crucial thing after a long day on the trail)fast and easy. I left off the 5th star because they are kind of spendy for a few feet of webbing, and when they die, I'll probably rig something similar out of cord. The real ease of use here comes from the loops stitched into the webbing, and that is easily copied with rope. Still, slick product.

This may be a dumb question but one order...

These straps are perfect for your ENO hammaocks. I have used them many times now and have had no problems whatsoever. The only problem is trying to find a good spot to put your straps around. I recommend buying these!

My dad got me the slap strap and hammock from y'all for me this christmas.
I think its great! Although, the material that the straps are made of seem to fray when strapped around trees... But over all, its simple to set up, easy and fast to break down and light weight- perfect for taking on long hikes and camping.

They can be a little confusing or a pain in the butt to use early on but once you get the hang of them they go up no problem and provide plenty of options.

I use these straps every time i use my hammock.these straps solve the most common concern: how am i going to hang it? and they offer so many options to the question:where am i going to hang it?
They are really strong and easy to travel with. Definitely recommend ENO slap straps.

These make setting up your ENO hammock sooooo much easier, faster, sturdier. Pretty lightweight and small, but I prefer actual daisy chains.
