    Does the job

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have not been able to take a hammock backpacking trip yet since ordering this. I ordered the whole kit: Eno double nest, Eno bug net, Eno tent, Eno underquilt, and atlas straps. The gear is what I expected and sets up nicely.

All the gear has a similar weight to my Big Agnes seedhouse 2. However, since there are no poles the gear can be moved around more in a backpack than a tent.

    FS: Book of Knots

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great straps... very easy to use. In Boyscouts they wouldn't let us eat until we successfully proved we could tie certain knots. Well guess what B*t(hes... I purged all my knot tying knowledge after my schooner sank and I learned I could use straps, not ropes and knots, to dangle my levitating sleeping pod. After a hard day's hike, it's nice knowing your sleeping arrangements are as simple as finding two sturdy trees and pushing a strap through a loop. Whomever invented these straps should wear a medal; ceremoniously awarded to them by none other than Prez Elec Orange Hitler.

    Pretty Neat

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These have been by far the best accessory I have purchased for my hammocking experiences. Reliable straps and extremely easy to use. Plenty of length for large trees. If I could purchase anything different it would be the 13 foot straps. It's better to have more length then not enough.

A must for hanging your hammock

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It helps you to hang your hammock from anything. It has many loops for getting your hammock hung at the right hight. They are also handy for hanging your gear from to keep it up off the ground, and for easy access

    Must Have

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

As a big hammock fan I have sold many friends on getting one for themselves. I would never consider letting them get one without also getting these straps. Not that this exact model is the ultimate end-all strap, I'm sure others are good too, but the general idea of straps to set up your hammock are a must-have. It makes setting up stupid easy and fast, so you can get straight to relaxing. And this particular set is about as perfect as I can imagine. Plenty strong for a good hammock party, plenty of loops to get that sag just right, and long enough to keep you hammocked in a sparse forest.

    EASY made Easier

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Went camping with the scouts, and this was so fast to set up that I was able to start the fire and get food cooking before half the scouts were done tying up there hammocks. As food cooked I helped the rest. Then in the morning same thing, I was packed and ready to rock before even the other leaders had theirs untied. I would recommend these to anyone that has never slept in a hammock. NO HASSLE SET UP!

Easiest way to set up a hammock

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These straps are the best of the ENO straps. And well worth it! THey are 1 inch wide (less damage to the tree), weigh less than the Slapstrap, and are long enough to set up your hammock in pretty much any situation.

These straps have large and plentiful openings so you can fine tune your hammock fit.

    Definitely recommend.
