When you roll into the airport with your gear in the Eagle Creek Take 2 ORV Trunk 28 Bag, you know you’re prepared for any travel contingency. Overweight luggage? The Take 2 features a main rolling bag and a zip-off, 49-liter modular gear bag that can be separately checked. The pull-out handle and rolling wheels let you haul through the terminal, the side, front, and top handles let your quickly toss the bag on a cab or a bus, and the shoulder strap helps you carry the bag over rough, cobbled streets. The easy-cleaning Bi-Tech interior features collapsible padded dividers for quick organization, and an internal cargo net stabilizes the load.

Bottom Line: Two bags or one? You decide.

This is my second Eagle creek bag, I like it and it packs really well. I bought it in Feb.2011 and 4 months later the stitching came loose and the corner protector was hanging by a thread.
Had to tape it in place to fly today. My first Eagle Creek bag lasted 10 yrs without any issues, wonder if they are making their bags in China now.

Does the Eagle Creek Take 2 ORV Trunk 28 zip off duffel have

Does the Eagle Creek Take 2 ORV Trunk 28 zip off duffel have backpack straps? I know it has a detachable shoulder strap but I wanted to know if it has backpack straps, as that would work best.

The reinforced corner is not as durable as you would think. I purchased this bag in Feb. 2011.

Like 3 bags for the price of 1.

Not only is this like 3 bags in one, it absolutely packs a ton of gear, and allows you to break it down, to either check two bags, or carry one one. Nice because even if you have to pay to check a second bag, it is almost always cheaper to pay for that bag then pay the overages on one bag that is over weight.

I just wish it had better options built in for flying with a suit, ahhh well, I only own one of those anyways!

Solid bag with added versatility

By:

Eagle Creek is known for making top-notch travel gear, and this bag is no exception. An added bonus with this model is that the design allows one to use either of its two compartments separately or together. When fully stuffed, the bag is just within airline restrictions for size, and its easy to overweight the bag such that it exceeds the 50 lb. weight limit. But the bag itself can tolerate it, and I expect to be using it for years to come.
