Hi, I'm a slim but fairly athletic female who is 5'6"

Hi, I'm a slim but fairly athletic female who is 5'6" and weighs 133 pounds. Just came back from my first backpacking trip round New Zealand and loved it, but traveled with a large backpack (no wheels), and a smaller rolling duffel.

I'm looking for a rolling backpack with a detachable day pack, and the whole Eagle Creek Switchback Max line intrigues me. The day pack I need must include a laptop sleeve inner pocket, at least two outer pockets, and a water bottle holder on the side so I can reach it without taking the pack off. I'd prefer if the main pack looked less like a standard piece of luggage (read: not completely rectangular) and has plenty of padding in the straps and part that would be on my back. (My back and waist are narrow, so am thinking about comfort here...)

Is this the pack for me? Can anyone recommend another if it is not 'quite right'? Will be ditching my regular suitcase and duffel in lieu of this one, so want to make a good choice.

Thanks in advance!

Check out Rick Steve's website. He sells travel packs and accessories. He's got two great rolling packs to choose from, and both can also be worn as back packs too. I like them because they lack the rigid frame of a suit case and so they're softer and they appear easier to mold into tight spaces. They're also lightweight and study. I'm going to do a backpack tour of Europe in Nov and I'm going to get one of his bags.
