Easy to use, sturdy, effective

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Best compression bag I've ever used. Durable plastic material can withstand lots of daily use during extended travel. Love the zip top which makes sealing very easy. Once the air has been removed it really will stay compressed unlike some cheaper versions which slowly regain air. Expensive, yes, but worth it.

There really is no such thing as an average sleeping bag with variables like insulation-type, fill-weight, size, and etc. to take into account. You could probably fit ceratin sleeping bags in an Eagle Creek Pack-It Compression Sac just fine, but I would recommend using these bags for clothes or similar items and keeping your sleeping bag in a stuff sack.

If you are looking for an after market storage sack for your sleeping bag I would highly recommend looking at products from Sea to Summit or Granite Gear. Both excellent brands with plenty of options.

Pack just about anything

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These bags don't look like much and I was pretty skeptical of the whole idea, but after reading other reviews I decided to give them a shot. So I bought one of the medium sized bags and when I got it and tried it out I was amazed. These are like some crazy infomercial product that actually work. I used the medium on a trip and was able to fit a regular sized pillow in it and compress it down to about the size of one pair of jeans. I have been so impressed by these that i have ordered several and everyone I have showed them to, have ordered some as well. Well worth the money, incredibly versatile, and can help you fit a ton of stuff in a little space. If i could give six stars to these I would.

Space Saving At Its Best

I love these. They're an excellent solution to storing and packing down-filled items or just packing in general.

This is a must for anyone who travels. It worked better than I expected. It saved a ton of room in my bag as well as sealed out the nasty smell of my dirty clothes.

Smell Saver

This bag works. Put all your dirty stuff in compress and pack without worrying about stinking up your clean clothing. I purchased in large and did not manage to fill it after a week vacation but the extra space was not a problem.
