Without Fail

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

The scariest part about a duffel bag is zipping it up when its proper stuffed. I've tried to upgrade to fancier bags, and all challengers have failed... this zipper is the reining champ. Also, the bag stays looking fairly new.

Great bag

I've used this bag for a while now and this is my second purchase. I'm still amazed at how light the bag is when empty and how small it can roll up into. Strong and well built it usually sits rolled up in a corner of my luggage on my vacations and unfurls on the last day to help me bring home an extra 130L of shopping and souvenirs home!

    Best. Bag. Ever!

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm so glad I bought this. I'm going hiking in the Alps for 9 days and this is perfect. I bought the medium and also used the eagle creek pack-it system and I even have room to spare. My poles perfectly fit as well. I can't recommend this enough.

    Amazing, durable duffle bag

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Ok let me just say the Eagle Creek No Matter What Duffle XL lives up to its name. I used this bag for all my gear during 17 weeks of fire academy where day in and day out this bag performed amazingly with 50-80lbs of gear in it and being tossed around every day. I love this bag, and I look forward to using it on many more adventures seeing as its still in great condition, and with the "no matter what" warranty Eagle Creek gives you with the bag it gives you the ease of mind not to worry. The only thing I might say bad is that there is only 1 big pocket and no smaller ones on the inside of the bag.

How does it all fit? Bunker boots, pants, coat and structure helmet. Does that fill it up all the way? I'll assume no SCBA air pack. Thanks!

obviously as to any packing if you want to fit more then being organized definatly helps, i just start at one side and pack it try to save space. The structure gear doesn't fill it up all the way i also had room for all wildland gear , web gear and sometimes some sweats. lol no, no SCBA if that would fit then this bag must be magic
