Great for travel

Traveled 5 months in India and SE Asia with this baby. Fits nicely under your pants, but as mentioned before you NEED a belt for this to work. Wasn't a problem for me, as I use travel pants that come with a built in belt that I would just thread through the loop. Easily fits a passport, credit cards and some extra cash. Can be awkward taking things out, so all you need to do is have your passport or credit card ready right before you need them, then slip them back in when you get a chance. Recommended

Peace of mind...

..carrying my valuables next to my junk, as it were. The other reviewer is right, you can forget about using this if you aren't wearing a belt. But I would rather wear a real belt and the hidden pocket than have a separate money belt. The soft side of the pouch is comfortable. I wore this thing for two weeks traveling and slept with it on a few times. Plenty of space, sturdy construction. It rocks.

Hidden pocket stays hidden

By:

although, the description says "clip", it doesnt mean there's a clip, in the pic its fairly obvious we're working with 2 loops here, i decided to try this out after my wallet was wicked by the crafty fingersmiths of india, i was not very conscious either!
this is perfect. it stays in my front pocket attached to the belt, the loops are just the perfect length, so it slightly sticks out of the pocket. feather light. big enough to hold a passport and 1/3 lengthwise and if nothing hard in there, you can fold it just like a normal wallet, has a zipper and 2 surprising little net organizing pockets inside for cards, papers etc. i will never buy a wallet again!, well atleast for casual purposes..and it has a lifetime warranty.

Product description misleading

By:

You can't "clip" this pouch to your belt. Why? There's no clip. Instead it has two loops. Great for running your belt through -- if you're rocking a belt. If you're not, there's no real way to attach to your -pants/shorts organically.

Without a belt I tried looping a carabiner through the loops on the pouch and then through my belt loop, tucking it inside my pants. But the loops are rather long and with the added length of the 'biner it hangs pretty low below the wasteline of the pants, making it pretty uncomfortable.

Good size pouch (big enough for a passport but not as long as a traditional money belt), but an attached clip would have been an easy fix for this product.

You're right, the word "clip" is misleading, however it's pretty obvious from the pictures that they are talking about loops. A clip with this product wouldn't work, as the whole point is to attach it to your belt inconspicuously, hence the two different belt loop colors to match different colored belts.

It "Depends"

By:
May 5, 2010

Used this in Haiti. I found this to be a bulky as I felt I had a "Depends" pouch on my frontside. I'm a 5'3 female and it hangs way too low from my belt. I then used it horizontal across my beltline but that was way bulky too. Flipping it in; out of my pants to show my passport was awkward as well and because it zips horizontal I had to hold the EC Pocket because it was still attached to my belt.
