Keep the case clean!

As you can see below, the case gets dirty or grimy really easily, producing fuzzy, blurry pictures. I took the time to clean the inside and outside of the case, and the images produced were MUCH better. I actually used Windex. I think the problem was that greasy sunscreen kept getting on the clear windows, making the pictures blurry. They got grimy pretty quickly when I took my newly cleaned case out paddleboarding. I guess just be aware that the case gets dirty when sunscreen is in use.

This was a series of photos I took with my iPhone 4 inside this case.

Taking pictures from inside the case does somewhat detract from the quality of the image. As you can see, the case gets dirty or cloudy easily, making fuzzy pictures.

I'll try taking some pictures underwater soon to see what happens.

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

This case fits on either my iPhone 4S or my iPod Touch. The screen has perfect touch capability, and I've never had issues with my device not responding to my finger when using the protective screen.

I've used this when paddleboarding down a river, with water literally washing over the top of the case - no damage! You do have to be extra cautious, and make sure you correctly seal the package (it isn't totally fool proof).

I plan to try some tests in my local pool to see what this case can do at depths of 8-9 feet. I'm curious...

The only drawback is that the plastic itself can get pretty grimy, so pictures can come out cloudy if you don't keep it super clean. The headphone jack works great, but it won't be ideal to use them in a very wet environment unless you have waterproof earbuds - something to think about.
