Mount up the Dynastar PX 12 Lifter Wide Binding, and take control over your big-mountain boards. The wide-brake version of the PX 12 features the signature Look suspended heelpiece, which gives you 25mm of consistent elastic travel to prevent pre-release in sketchy terrain.
Wide 100mm brakes fit today’s fat skis (and can bend even wider)
6mm toe/6.5mm heel lift eases turn initiation and adds leverage over big planks
Dual-wing PX toepiece for consistent and safe release in backward twisting falls
3.5-12 DIN range allows skiers to progress without requiring a new binding every season
Kept me on my skis all season! Didn't have any major blow-outs, so it helps to be a badass...or wuss, you decide. Totally match my Dynaster skis (bottom of the priority list!) but very easy to mount on the Dynastar/Look riser mount. I know its super rad to screw your binders into your skis, but it made for a super smooth ride as I still enjoy to open it up on corduroy. My sticks are about 90mm underfoot, so no problems with the brakes.
I had these mounted on the skis I used last year (they were Dynastars). The DIN on these only goes up to 12, so if you are looking to really crank your binding you will want something else. I had these most of the time around 10, but sometimes higher, so I often had them at their limit. They did their job well and kept me in unless I really needed to come out. Overall they were a very good and strong pair of bindings. They aren't the lightest bindings I've ever used (compared to some of Salomon's like the STH 14 or 16 and Marker's griffon/jester) but their weight was fine as well.

I have salomon pocket rockets with S810 Ti bindings. The bindings are demo (can be adjusted) and have seen too much. I probably came out over 10 times when I did not need too. I need new bindings and was curious if anyone knew if the PX 12 Lifter would be a good fit. I weigh 205 lbs and like to ski aggressively. Thanks for any input
Mounted nicely on my Dynastar Big Troubles (92mm underfoot). I'm 145lbs and have the DIN set at 7.5. They release when they should, but no sooner. Great feel while riding.
Thats what Im rocking and it works great. As Jeremy suggests, you should be able to get away with the 90mm brake, but I have no problems with mine and you could the 100mm if you ever get a wider ski. Consequently, if you have the rider riser, I believe I was able to mount these without any tools at all could be handy in a pinch or to let someone borrow/try out your skis.
Yes. These would be a great choice. You could also try the non-wide PX 12 Lifter with a brake width of 90mm, which would fit more snuggly around your 88mm-waisted Mythic Riders.
If you can't quite afford the Pivot/FKS series bindings from Look/Rossignol, these are a great alternative. They have almost the same elasticity, their toe piece has the same width AFD, but this binding is slightly heavier, their is no turntable feature on the heel, the binding sits up higher on the ski and has a longer mount zone (so you feel more binding under your feet), and the construction is half plastic (which makes it quite a bit less burly). You could also check out the PX 14 or PX 15 binding from look for a slightly stronger setup and still a lower price than the Pivot/FKS series.
I still prefer this binding over most other brands 12-14 DIN bindings. I also want to mention, that if you can afford to do so, get the Ti (titanium) version of this binding, it is lighter weight. I also want to point out that I hate lifters under my bindings, but most skis hops carry shorter screws and are able to mount this binding without the lifter.
Matched my mantras with these and so far so good. I set the DIN to 8.5 for 175lbs of meat and the bindings were all good in powder as well as on the groomed runs at full speed. They're a bit on the heavy side but really on the slopes, you can't tell the difference.
It's a binding that goes up to 12. Yep. Fits over my 94mm waist Snoop Daddies with a few mm to spare, so I'd say the 100mm they claim is accurate before you'd have to start bending.
