Break out the big guns, the Dynastar Legend Big Dump Skis, when the heavens open and bring feet of snow for you to play in. Thanks to its 120mm waist and progressive ski tip the Big Dump Ski lives to slash down wide open powder fields, stomp down pillow-lines, and maneuver through spacious trees. Not for the faint of heart, these burly skis delivers face-shot after face-shot, and reminds you that these aren\222t just any pair of planks.

  • A wood core with fiber and tital metal makes for a powerful, strong, and lightweight ski to slash turns in powder
  • Fat dimensions and a slight rockered tip charges through crud and sails through fresh pow
  • Racing base allows for high speed cruising and quick acceleration
  • Requires a binding with a brake width of 120-135

Bottom Line: A legend in its own right.

If you want to charge...this is your ski. It is not for the cruiser skier. The Big Dump will hold up to any speed in any conditions. It really allows you to take your charging to the next level. If you're not ready this is not the ski for you...only the ready need apply!

I mounted mine per manufacture recommendation. Not forward or back of center. This isn't a park ski and it's not twin tip.

Hi Erik - Any suggestions on mounting point on these? I have a pair of Pro Riders that I love, hoping these just provide that much more float.

Fantastic expert ski

Have been skiing Seth's for several years now and Fischer worldcup race skis on hardpack days, but wanted a true powder specific ski for inbounds and side country. Didn't want to go with the full clown rocker though since we all know how quickly pow gets skied out.
If- you can truly ski without dropping your hands
If- you can stay centered or forward on your skis all the time, even when you are tired. . .
If - you want to fearlessly rip wide open bowls with varying snow density

This may be the ski for you.
Bonus- even though they are 120 underfoot, one can rip trenches in the courderoy as long as you ski it like a carving ski. But be warned, as soon as you get lazy they will drag you straight down the hill at Mach2.

Some say that this ski might not work in tight trees. My experience is that if you are skiing with your weight forward, engaging the front edges just like you are carving on groomers, this ski will turn as tight as you want with extreme precision, and float just fine due to the early rise tip.

It's 193 but skis like a 180-185. Stiff, burley ski for strong skiers who know how to carve. If you are intermediate you might hate this ski.

If there's any chance of finding pow I will be on this ski because it's a joy even on groomers making GS turns. Something the very rockered skis fail at.

In a word . . . Wow!
