The Dynastar Legend 8000 Alpine Ski w/ PX 12 Ti Lifter Binding combine for a burly all-mountain package that takes you from powder to bumps to corduroy. The Legend 8000 Ski follows the Dynastar tradition of strength and performance. A wood core and Titanal sandwich construction give the Legend 8000 durable strength and power to rip through crud and power through long turns on the corduroy. The PX12 Ti Lifter Binding's Full Drive toe piece transmits energy directly to your ski and has a multi-directional release to protect your knee and ankle joints if you take a digger.

Bottom Line: The Dynastar Legend 8000 Alpine Ski w/ PX 12 Ti Lifter Binding makes a bomber one-ski quiver.

Outstanding skis. Won't toe-in in the powder, cuts through the crud, and will run as fast as you can tolerate on the hard packed snow.

Dynastar 8000 Legend

I have skied these skis for two seasons, mostly in France (where it is a "cult" ski). A powerful yet silky smooth soft snow ski, it "gentles" you into and out of turns. It can handle ice without chatter, but it is NOT a GS ski. But if you can have only one ski for the whole mountain, this is your ski. Note: I have found binding placement crucial for best performance and prefer 1cm ahead of center.

all around I liked 'em

I demo'd these last weekend in variable conditions: groomed, powder, chunky, off trail and they were great. They're nice and fast if you let loose.

Legend 800

I think the Legend 8000 is an outstanding ski. When you want to GO, they ski like a GS race ski but when you have to pick your way down a steep chute in variable light and snow conditions they're very easy. I ski them in all conditions, a very good ski no matter what the mountain is up to.

I use them on the back bowls, down the steeps and in the bumps. They like to go fast! Versatile, and great carving!
