Description

A mid-fat charger that thinks boundaries are for chumps.

If you're having a hard time deciding between sending it hard in the park or searching out stashes in the trees, let the rockered tip of the Dynastar 6th Sense Slicer Ski guide your way to both. The Slicer's stable, mid-fat footprint gives you the best part of an all-mountain charger, and the poppy construction lends the feel of a dedicated park ride. Steer the Slicer into the deeps, hammer it through the pipe, and then toss yourself silly down the jump line; you'll be hard pressed to find a place on the mountain that it won't obliterate.
  • Spring Blade Technology uses multiple layers of stacked wood blocks connected to varying lengths of fiberglass to create explosive pop and cushy shock absorption
  • A low-density wood core means rugged durability coupled with a smooth, responsive flex
  • All Mountain rocker enables you to float in powder and bust through crud, and it's is easy to maneuver in steep, technical terrain
  • Vertical sidewalls create powerful edge control in the park or the pipe

These skis are incredible! I'm a short quick turn guy, rip bumps, trees, steeps, sick air, powder, wind blown, crusty, and spring slush. These boards absolutely rip everything I throw at them! Dare ya to try to keep up...

Demoed a ton of skis this week and out of everything I tried, these were, by far, my least favorite.

The tips never engage, no matter how far or hard you press forward. These things felt like snowblades. They are completely useless on groomers and anything hard, steep or icy. Or any combination of those three. Their zero camber and full rocker truly have no use outside of powder. Or making skiers who don't know how to use their edges look better.

The only conditions I even remotely enjoyed these skis in was big, pre-mogul crud and powder. But even in those conditions AND all other conditions, I enjoyed other skis far more.

There are far, far better, true pow+bumps+park+steeps skis on the market.

This are pretty sweet skis. Nice profile, I've ridden them through some nasty crud, some iced out hills (Big Emma at the Bird is 99% ice, 1% rock) and that sweet powdar. They crushed through the crud without that sense of losing stability. They stuck to the ice and held a nice edge. Deep powder is going to be your real concern on these, not a true rocker tip/tail and not all that wide at 98 waist width but still handled itself fine in the freshies. The powder issue you should be aware of ahead of time simply based on its specs but wanted to include that in case you have difficulties reading tech info on da right hand side.

Factory recommended binding is the Look PX12 or the Look Pivot 14 depending on your skill level and use of the ski.
