Skintrack DNA with a freeride lean.

Nobody understands how to make technical and lightweight ski touring gear better than Dynafit, but there's more to the backcountry than skintrack performance, so the company's expanding into freeride touring with gear like the Yotei Gore-Tex Men's Pant. It's designed with a slightly more relaxed fit than Dynafit's speed touring and and ski mountaineering gear, so freeskiers-turned-backcountry fiends will feel right at home, but it still boasts the lightweight and highly technical design specs for which Dynafit is known, like a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex C-Knit membrane, fully taped seams, and zip-off stretch bib.

Combined with the stretchy ankle gaiters, these features will keep you dry whether you're skinning up in a blizzard, braving soggy springtime storms, or tearing up chest-deep champagne pow on the descent, and the Yotei's articulated knees and outer thigh vents will keep you mobile and cool, respectively, when you're four hours into a tough all-day mission. Best of all, if you feel the need to pop your pants off over your boots and rip your line in the buff, just unhook the waist adjustment tabs, pull open the ankle zips, and sling your pants over your shoulder as you enjoy some pow au naturel.

    Solid Resort / Touring Bibs

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

If you've got questions about these bibs, definitely contact me.

I've been using these bibs between the resort and in the backcountry. They've been pretty great.

    Breathability:

The Gore-Tex C Knit has been pretty good so far. The breathability hasn't been an issue, so I'd say since I don't really notice anything that it's working pretty well.

    Sizing:

This is a classic Medium. My waist is a 33" and the middle of the range for a Medium on these is 32". My inseam is 32" and these are great.

    Pockets:

The pockets are great. Nice and big and the right pocket has a divider inside for your beacon or cell phone, etc.

    Snaps:

These are a bit small/finicky but once you snap them together they're super clutch for not destroying the gaiters/bottom of your pants.

    Bibs:

One of the cooler features is the fact that bibs can zip off. I don't want just pants and I don't want just bibs. So these are perfect since they can be what I want them to be each day.

All-in-all it's a pretty rad set of bib/pants that performs great.

If you've got questions about these bibs or the jacket, let me know I'll gladly help you out.

    Does it all!

I love these pants. I recently brought these pants to a two week ski tour in Antarctica. During that time I encountered every type of weather you can imagine. From super hot days to full on blizzards I stayed warm and dry. The waterproofing was 100% and while riding the zodiac to the shore I was getting hit by the waves, however, I stayed completely dry. The fit of the pants is perfect and I never felt restricted while skiing, climbing or touring. I highly recommend these to anyone who participates in outdoor activities!

    Hi!
I'm looking for a pair of great fitting, technical bibs for splitboard touring here in Alaska. I am 5'6 though, and finding a pair that fit right is proving difficult. Has anyone that is around my height tried these Yotei Pants in a size small? Concerned about buying these as the size chart says a small is for 5'9+?!
