    Light, efficient, and reliable.

If long tours across hanging alpine valleys and steep ascents up near vertical mountains sounds like your cup of tea, consider the Dynafit TLT Expedition Binding your Earl Grey. The TLT Expedition combines the burly toe piece of the Dynafit Radical with a lightweight and minimalist heel piece for fast and efficient backcountry travel. The heel piece borrows its design from randonnee race bindings, resulting in a simple and effective system that's intuitive to use in the alpine. The wide Radical toe piece and low stand height puts more power to the ski for added security during the descent, while the lack of lateral release helps prevent release when skiing in no-fall zones.

    Uphill beast!

Are you looking at some long approaches in the future? Look no further this lightweight system provides the ultimate uphill experience with the quality release that dynafit provides in case you take a spill. Similar to the TLTs or radicals. Please feel fee to reach out if you are looking to get outfitted - 801-204-4533 or escherer@backcountry.com.

Just a heads up, these don't really have the same release capabilities of the TLTs or the Radicals. The heel piece has no lateral release, meaning you can't twist out of it like you can on other Dynafit bindings. With the toe unlocked, you could theoretically pull out of the binding with a forward or backward motion in a fall, but this is a very rudimentary release and your skis will more likely than not stay on your feet if you take a tumble.

What they DO excel at is having almost no mechanical failure points. These are extraordinarily simple, low-tech bindings that won't leave you stranded. They're not flimsy, but with the lack of lateral release they're designed for careful "no-mistake" skiing as you'd do days from civilization and emergency help. Check out the Superlite 2.0 if you want something just as light with a fully adjustable release setting for slightly more aggressive skiing.

    Light as a feather

yeah, the don't weigh. there's no other way to describe it. at 7 oz. you're only affected by the weight of your skis!
They feel great. Ski like Dynafits. I haven't taken a tumble, so release may be a different experience, but they feel pretty much the same as my TLTs, and Radicals, just a bit closer to the ground with no risers.
Installation is a bear. hire a professional with the jig. Though it can be done at home, it's such a stressful task, i wish it on no one.
