Vital.

A runaway ski will end your pow-day festivities quick. Grab the Dynafit Ski Stopper TLT Vertical + Comfort Crampon and insure that a poorly placed ski with a Dynafit binding won't leave you one-footing it all the way back to your truck. Tough-as-nails metal construction means this brake is just as durable as your trustworthy two-pin binder.

maybe it's just my ignorance but i got these because i had 110m radicals but 90mm K2 sideshows. the installer at REI said the 90mm were too tight (even to bend) ... the 110m originals look fine now. so these sit in the spare parts box.

I returned these because I could not install properly. The Dynafit instructions were worthless.

Sorry the Dynafit instructions weren't helpful. There is a great set of instructions with pictures on Wildsnow.com. http://www.wildsnow.com/articles/dynafit_faq/comfort-brake-install.html

Are the 'brake retainers' universal or specific to each brake size? If not universal, is it possible to order the retainers separately?

I am not sure what you mean by the retainers. If it is the "H" shaped metal bracket, yes they are universal. You can order parts direct from Dynafit at 303-444-0446.

I believe this item is the brake assembly for a Dynafit TLT Vertical binding. I also think than Dynafit offers some sort of attachable crampon -- perhaps it is known as the Comfort Crampon. I did not get the crampon assembly and it is not in the picture. I don't think a crampon is really included in this item.

(Note: The 2012/2013 Radical series requires the entire heelpiece to be switched. This is not the brake for the 2012/2013 models.) Correct. This is only the brake. It will work with all Vertical and 2011-2012 Radical binding models. You can find the crampon here: http://www.backcountry.com/dynafit-crampons
They are out of stock right now, but will be getting more later this summer.

Write your question here...My skiis are 94 mm. underfoot. Do the 92s expand to fit slightly wider skis, or should I get the next size up? Thanks!

The 92s should work. That's only 1mm per edge. 4-5mm extra is usually a safe max.

What would be the best size brake to use with a the K2 Sidestash. I would like to just change out the brake arm on my existing brakes to go to the wider ski but I don't believe I can do that?

I've taken these off before and I don't believe you can simply get a larger brake arm and install it individually. I'd go with the 110 however, you'll be good with that.

Can anyone tell me if I can bend out 110mm brakes to make them work on a 115 width. Thanks

That's about the most I recommend. Your only going about 2.5-4mm wider. Any more and it's possible to damage the brake.
