Lightweight and Packable

From my previous review the jacket is cut a little long. For reference I am 5 '10 and 165 lbs and I ordered a size medium and it is a little roomy. Perfect for adding a layer or two. Initially I ordered the Poison color and it is definitely more purple than the web picture shows. It is definitely not blue! I exchanged the jacket for the Trojan color and that is somewhere between lime green and neon green. Really cool color. Kept me comfortable on Mt Evans as a storm was rolling in and even though I didn't have to test the waterproofness of the jacket I'm sure glad I had it!

    Super Packable Protection

I'm definitely going to be using this jacket for backcountry skiing this winter but I actually bought it for a road cycling trip. I wanted better protection here in Colorado for a trips up Mt Evans and Pikes Peak. Getting to the top of Evans it was cold, windy and it looked like a storm was going to be hitting us any minute. This jacket was worth every penny while waiting at the top and heading down Mt Evans. While we thankfully stayed dry, the winds were crazy and the temps kept dropping until we got back below 10k feet. This jacket rolled up nice and small a fit in the back pocket of a cycling jersey. It won't fit in the back of all of my jerseys but it fits most and will definitely be with me on similar adventures. Can't wait to take it into the backcountry this winter.
