Dynafit's FT Mustagh Ata Touring Ski hungers for big ascents and picturesque lines and with its Paulowina lightwood core, this mid-fat AT ski chows down on both long skins and open powder. Like its name suggests, the FT Mustagh Ata Touring Ski tackles big mountain ascents and long-range tours with its tough, but lightweight carbon reinforcements, snappy wood core, and its smooth-gliding race base. Dynafit made the Mustagh Ata Ski with lightweight and more importantly earth-friendly Paulowina wood. Paulowina is warp-resistant and grows far more quickly than standard wood core materials, so you can reduce your carbon footprint without losing floatation. Cut-outs in the FT Mustagh Ata Touring Ski's tip and tail hold tight to your skins and take the hassle out of the uphill-downhill transition.

Bottom Line: The Dynafit FT Mustagh Ata Touring Ski sets high goals.

I'm using a pair of these with Dynafit TLTs and Garmont Axon boots. Seems like a great setup so far. The ski setup is ultralight which makes up for the beefy boots. The skis themselves are stiff and with the Axon boots, they really hold a good line; even on groomers. I've only had them this spring so no real pow, but they bust through the crud nicely. They're not cheap but still a steal for what you get.

Quite a stiff ski. Good for guys weighing 210 pounds (195k) like me. Only problem I has with this model was the base dislodged.
