Inspired by the speed and power of a certain mountain cat.
A brand known for its dedication to the mountain lifestyle, Dynafit created the Women's WS Feline Ghost Trail Running Shoe so you can feel light on your toes and confident on your feet when you're running in the wild. Beside the seamless, breathable upper and the ample cushioning below your foot, one of the most notable features of this shoe is the articulated outsole. Dynafit calls this a multi-pad outsole, and that simply means that different portions of the outsole are free to flex independently to match undulations and changes in the terrain. Coupled with an aggressive lug pattern, this outsole engineering provides talon-like grip on the trail.
- Synthetic upper with breathable mesh panels and vents along each side to allow excess heat and moisture to move away from your foot
- Sensitive fit cradles your heel and forefoot while providing plenty of support at the midfoot
- Seamless construction eliminates seam bulges that otherwise rub against your foot and cause chafing
- Vibram outsole gives you traction for a variety of dry, wet, and loose terrain
- Multi-pad outsole pattern allows each part of the outsole to flex independently to improve traction through articulation
- Ballistic toe bumper protects your toes against rocks and roots

So nice I bought two pairs
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
I highly recommend these shoes. They weigh next to nothing, but they have support and padding (just enough, IMO). I run on trail and in a sandy arroyo. They haven't been slippery on sandy, wet rock (it's only rained once since I got them). They do get sand in them, and then first time I wore them with thin socks I got some blisters. No problems since that time. They're great on firm trail.
If you consider a spectrum of fit from 0-10, where 5 is true to size, 0 is a full size too small, and 10 is a full size too big, I'd give these a 4. I went up a half size for my pair for running, but I got my normal size for backpacking.
Note: I did not add other foot beds to these shoes. You could seriously customize the fit if you did that.

Hi, there! What's the cushioning like in the forefoot of these Feline Ghosts? I have a slight "mechanical" problem with the bones in the ball of my left forefoot, and after about 5 miles in your average running shoe (trail or road) the ball of my left forefoot will start to get sore. Only shoe I've found that totally eliminates this soreness is the Hoka (completed a 50-miler this past March with no forefoot soreness whatsoever) and I do have a pair of those, but every now and then I'll have other issues with the Hokas... so I'd like to explore another pair of trail shoes with good forefoot cushioning to keep in my "shoe stable." Do you recommend these Feline Ghosts? Or any other particular trail shoe? Thanks!
