New 120s ARE actually 120 mm

Just in case backcountry.com ever gets off their butt and stocks the new Dynafit crampons, I can confirm that the 120 mm crampons are true to size - I bought a pair elsewhere and measured. The narrowest inner width is precisely 120. It makes me wonder if the new 110s are also now made to the correct size... If anyone can confirm, would be great!

The new design also has longer teeth which I personally like since you can use them more effectively with risers. They still glide similarly to the classic design, so I think it's an improvement overall.

Will these ever be available again. These have been sold out for at least 6 months and Reps keep saying soon. Will you ever have these in stock again?

The 110s fit my Stokes fine; feel nice and light.
The 92s were way too narrow for my wife's Manaslus with a 90 mm waist.

Will these crampons fit the new radicals?...

Will these crampons fit the new radicals? Thx.

Responded on

Yes. They are cross-compatible between the Radicals and Verticals.

Actual Size - 108mm

It has been discussed, now here is the proof. Don't plan to put these on your 110mm Howitzers like I did! They will fit over, but they will rub most of the way as you step down. Bending them in a vice is also hopeless.

The 92MM crampon does not fit a 90MM waist ski either, but does fit an 88MM waist ski but no more than that

I wish I had read peter's post before I ordered the 92 mm crampons for my wife's Manaslu skis (90 mm waist); definitely too small.

will the 110 width be able to fit on a pair of DPS 112RPs?

Responded on

Hmmm.... Possibly.... The crampons do not bend as easily as the brakes, but we are only talking about 1-2mm per side. I wouldn't want to guarantee it, but you may be able to pull it off.
