Born from a racing pedigree of bags, the Dynafit Broad Peak 28 Backpack holds true to its minimalist roots while stepping up for longer ski-touring days. Organize your layers and climbing gear for days when going light still means going safe.

  • Back-panel access to main compartment lets you easily see and organize your gear even with skis attached to the backpack
  • Anatomical back system with Airmesh holds the bag closer to your back to prevent bag-swing on the ascent and descent
  • One-handed Dynafit ski attachment system for loading skis on-the-go when seconds count
  • Crampon safety box on the outside of bag is padded to protect fragile or sharp gear
  • Mesh skin pocket holds skins for yo-yo laps on powder days
  • Hydration-system compatible for reservoirs or a water bottle (removable water bottle holder included)
  • Dynafit ice axe holder holds your ice axe close to your back for easy access and to prevent it from swinging and taking your partner’s eyes out
  • Front tool pocket organizes your avalanche gear to prevent the important stuff from banging into your ultra-light lunch

Bottom Line: When you go higher in the mountains, use the Broad Peak to get your stuff there.

Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

At first glance it appears that way but if you open up the back panel and look inside the main compartment there is a small hole that connects the main compartment to the probe sleeve which allows your probe to extend into the main compartment once it reaches the bottom of the probe sleeve. There is also a hole that connects the main compartment to the lower compartment (safety box) which allows your probe to then drop into that compartment. It's a bit of a pain to get the probe in but it will fit.

This roop is ajustable. The size of this roop is 34cm. So, maybe 15cm width you can use.
