    Stylish and durable

After purchasing one of these collars for my dog a couple years ago I was instantly sold. This collar will last for years to come and is super durable. The rubber coating on the collar keeps it from breaking down over time and also keeps the collar from getting stinky. Plus you're dog will look smart wearing the Oxford collar and you'll receive lots of compliments from intrigued dog owners who admire your best friends fancy collar.

These also make great gift for anyone who owns a dog. What's not to love about this collar?

      Lucy and Itchy love 'em

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Both of our dogs, Lucy and Itchy, have been running around for several months with the Dublin Dog KOA collars. Lucy is looking dapper with the Oxford model, while Itchy looks like a true outdoorsy mutt with the Rainbow Trout pattern. What I love about these collars is the fact that they’re made from a waterproof, pliable material. Both dogs, being, you know, dogs, have rolled around in god-knows-what, dove into swampy lakes, and bushwhacked through hell and back. Through all that abuse, the collars still look like new and don’t smell like bear poop (a bad experience with Lucy’s previous collar.)

Even the hardware is killer. Both the tag loops and buckles are thick and strong, with engraved lettering. These spoiled-ass dogs have never looked so swank.

      Awesome Collar

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Even though the description says "waterproof", I didn't expect the material to be plastic-like. Even so, I really love this collar- our other dog has a Chaco collar (love my Chacos), but I now really want to replace his with a Dublin Dog collar as well! It never gets dirty and looks brand new even though our sweet pitbull plays rough and rolls around in the dirt all the time. The raspberry color is beautiful as well- stays bright no matter what she puts it through! As for where to attach the leash- the loop that helps hold down the excess length also holds the leash; we've had no problems with it.

      Place for leash?

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It seems obvious now that I think about it, but where do you hook your dog's leash? The buckle in the picture is for holding down excess length like on a human belt, not for hooking your leash on to. I like that it is waterproof, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Actually, you do hook the leash onto the buckle. In the picture, it may look like it lies flat but it comes up and is very easy to hook leashes on. Why a 2 star review for that if you haven't even tried it out in person?
