The Diamondback Podium Youth Bike comes in a single size, designed to fit those between about 4’8” and 5’1”. Why just one size? Well, Diamondback saw that adult bikes rarely ranged low enough to fit youngsters, and that kids bikes topped out at about the 4’8” range. So they made the Podium Youth to fill this size gap.
It’s made from 6061 aluminum, and comes with a wide-range Shimano Claris groupset, designed to tackle even the steepest roads. While it is blue, Diamondback specifically spec’d gender-neutral saddles and handlebars to make it as appealing as possible, even if it’s a hand-me-down.
