Diamondback's Interval Carbon Complete Bike is built to slot into the intervals between your Lycra life and your daily life, meeting your needs on every ride that doesn't require carb-loading, energy gels, and power meters.

Of course, you've been spoiled by that racing demon hanging in the garage, so you expect the vibration damping and quick response of a lightweight carbon frame. You'll be happy to note that the Interval meets these criteria with a monocoque layup that puts you in an upright position for cycling that focuses on fun and utility over blind speed. You can comfortably wear a backpack on the Interval with spare clothes for once you've arrived at the office — definitely not recommended on your slammed crit machine.

The ten-speed Shimano Tiagra drivetrain isn't what you'd want for an epic day in the mountains, but its serviceable durability recommends it as the group of choice for daily abuse. The wide, flat bar, disc brakes, and 30-millimeter tires also make the Interval at home in the spaces between mountain and road riding, so it moonlights as a gravel bike.
