Replace your trekking pole baskets with DGI's Trek Talonz for greater grip and security over rugged terrain. The teeth on these heat-treated, alloy steel baskets dig into the dirt for greater security when hiking over slippery or uneven slopes. DGI gave the Talonz a rotating design and curved teeth, so they won't get caught on brush. The Trek Talonz work with most trekking poles with replaceable gaskets, and at only one ounce, they won't weigh you down.

Bottom Line: Get a grip with the DGI Trek Talonz Trekking Pole Baskets.

Trek Talonz get a grip

By:
July 17, 2009

My pole baskets looked a little tired, so bought some Talonz before going on a 50 mile backpack with friends and family. Ended the segment with Mt. Whitney and also had some snow on Forester Pass. The baskets added security (or at least they seemed to) on the snow slopes and dirt. They clink a little because they are metal, but that's the only downside.
