What size sleeping bag will fit in the bottom compartment? My current sleeping bag doesn't come close to fitting.

that is a good question as all sleeping bags are different. I can fit a 15 degree down bag in here no problem .. Down is definately going to be more packable than synthetic

Solid backpack

I'm no expert but when I took this pack out on a decent day hike on a relatively cold 9 mile hike (with the occasional snow flurries) It was everything that I needed. It rides a bit high on my waist but besides that its comfortable. It was large enough to pack everything by far and can adapt to what I will need it for, although I will say that the camelbak bladder that I put in there was a pain to get the hose situated right and when placed inside took up a bit of room in the main compartment.

The behind the back ventilated area was a bit large I believe but it made a fantastic place to stash my trail mix bag for quick and easy access.

Bottom Line: I'd recommend this to a friend. I'll use it happily for a long time.

How about a 6' 2" 190 pound male? Would it still fit nice?

It should fit just fine. It doesn't look like it has adjustable torso length but you should be fine. The nice thing about getting it at backcountry is that once you get it, if ya don't like it, return it!! No questions asked!
