The backpack fits torso lengths ranging from 14.5 to 18 inches, and offers four pounds of additional carrying capacity than the AC Aera 22 SL if you need a little more room for packing along supplies for your kids or hiking companion, or if you're out in colder temperatures with bulkier layers to pack along. Once you're moving on the trail, the supportive spring steel frame and side compression straps support and balance your load, while the ventilating AirComfort mesh back panel provides breathable comfort.

If the weather's drizzly when you hit the trail, the backpack's water-resistant fabric will protect contents inside, and an integrated rain cover offers added protection if the drizzling doesn't let up or turns into a downpour. The backpack is compatible with your hydration reservoir, and includes a reflective attachment for your drinking tube so you can easily find it if you're out on the trail before sunrise or after sundown.
