how to set a deuce brand watch
how to set a deuce brand watch
There should be 2 pin holes on the sides of it that are used for setting.
Kept Resetting Itself
- Gender: Female
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I would not recommend this watch. There's something about the design on the back of the watch that lends itself to resetting itself. Very inconvenient in the middle of a back country trip.
this watch is so practical for my lil skater dude, hes 11, BUT one of the screws that holds time piece in wasn't screwed in by manufacturer and IMPOSSIBLE for me to do..Can screw with mini "tech deck" screwdriver just fine but the holes do not line up so it pops out of rubber casing.. Finally, because was a gift sent and cannot exchange, I just took the supportive white plastic piece out had to gently cut rubber to just put the screw in. I know this won't last but my only option.
He got the "rasta" colored one and is absolutely adorable and perfect for him...just extremely BUMMED about the defect. I TOTALLY ENCOURAGE no one to buy online but in store and demand to check the screws before purchasing..The RASTA style just due to 3 colors is $5 extra so BEWARE!! GOOD LUCK!
Simple and perfect
it is what the description says, very simple but it gives you the time and looks cool :)

wouldn't buy...ours is rasta style and one of only 2 screws were not in and the holes to screw in were WAY off...$25.99 for the extra "colors"...The lil cheap time piece pops out due to this defect...Its basically a rubberband with the cheapest possible time "piece" on the planet...basically we are "screwed" because lost reciept and 17th st surf shop will not even exchange...Wilm,NC...wont shop there anymore...shout out to SIDE ARM SURF!!!! AND DOUBLEWIDE!! they'd Never be such jerks. WASTE OF CASH..cute but not worth it..can barely see time too.

how long do these watches last? are they super durable?
The battery life is estimated at 1.5 years. But the battery is pretty easy to change with the right size screwdriver.
To keep your watch in tip top shape, we recommend you follow these guidelines to care for your Deuce watch:
1. Avoid leaving your watch in extremes for long periods of time: direct sunlight, extremely warm or cold conditions.
-Extreme heat will cause malfunction and shorten the battery life
-Extreme cold will cause the watch to gain or lose time
2. Avoid extreme shock or impact. Your watch is designed to withstand impact under normal use.
3. Do not operate any of the function buttons when the watch is submerged in water.
-Should water or condensation appear in the watch face, have the watch checked immediately. Water can corrode electronic parts inside the case.
4. Do not submerge your watch in hot water or the shower.
5. Keep your watch clean with a soft cloth and water only.
How Do you set this watch?
How Do you set this watch?
Should come with directions my friend.
1. Press A button twice. (Date & time displays when pressed once)
2. When the month figure appears, press M to set month.
3. Press A button once again, the date figure appears and press M to adjust date.
4. Press A button once again, the hour figure appears and press M to set the time.
5. Press A button once again, the minute figure appears and press M to set the minute.
*When you adjust any one of the following: month, date, time, minute, just keep pressing the A button until the desired figure appears and press M to adjust.
*Generally A button is used to select the function (Month, Date, Time, Minute) and M button is used to adjust the function.
there must have been something wrong because they all have directions and if not check out the internet
OH WOW THESE WATCHES SELL FOR £1 IN PRIMARK IN THE UK...OR ONES EXTREMELY IDENTICAL, HOWEVER THERE MAY NOT BE AS MUCH COLOUR OPTIONS..BUT SEE, THIS PROVES HOW OVER INFLATED OR OVER PRICED ITEMS ARE BEING SOLD FOR......THIS IS WHAT THE WORLD IS COMING TO ): ): ): SAD TIMESSSSS!!!!!..........
constantly Throws off time/resets
Constantly throws off time, I reset my watch 3-5 times a day. But it is a $20 watch so it's nothing special
I have ordered several items from backcountry over the years and never had a problem, but this was a rough experience. I ordered the watch in green (it was offered) then days later I got an email saying the color was out of stock! I went back in and picked the only other large- navy blue... yeah it turned out to be purple. I even checked the package thinking they sent the wrong one, but it was labelled navy blue. Add to all of this the watch doesn't keep accurate time. I should mention I had a 20 dollar gift card from backcountry so all I paid was shipping, but still should of just used it towards something quality.
first one defective
overall i like this watch. i picked one up when backcountry.com dropped a 20 gift card on me over the holidays. however, the first one i got was defective and would reset every couple of days. i first contact deuce about the issue but they never responded. backcountry, on the other hand, immediately sent me a replacement watch.
hopefully other people don't have the same resetting issue. the moral of this story is that backcountry.com takes care of its customers.
How do you set the time on this watch,...
How do you set the time on this watch, since their were no instructions?
How do I set the time, since I have no instructions with it?
Marie, you set the time and date using the two buttons on the back of the watch. I'd suggest using the tip of a pen to push them, and I'll refer to them as the top (T) and bottom (B) buttons. To view the date (time is normally shown), push the B button.
1. Press the T button twice and the month appears. Use the B button to adjust the month.
2. Press the T button once more and the day appears. Use the B button to adjust the day.
3. Press the T button once more and the hour appears. Use the B button to adjust the hour.
4. Press the T button once more and the minute appears. Use the B button to adjust the minute.
5. Press the T button one last time to finish the adjustment.
Hope that helps you out.
just trash it...piece of junk..trust me
Deuce Brand Classic Watch simplicity is heaven
I often break watches because of my activities. Whether I smack a tree, a rail or the concrete they always break but not this little guy. I wanted something small, simple and light so I didn't notice wearing it but more importantly tough. This thing is all of those and more.
The water resistance is also a nice perk because when I'm snowboarding I get plenty of snow inside my gear from some of the gnarly wrecks. Its nice not having to remove it when soaking the soar muscles in the hot tub afterwords. It has not light but thats just one less thing to worry about breaking.
Only downside, as others have said, it does not keep time the best. It does pretty good but after a few weeks It's off by a few minutes.
Cool watch, waterproof and reliable
these watches are pretty cool .. bought one for me and my girlfriend and we both really like them .. they are pretty durable and are good to wear while going out instead of wearing an expensive watch and it getting all banged up .. definatly worth 20$
Is it waterproof?
Is it waterproof?
According to the description, it is WATER-RESISTANT TO 99 FEET/30 METERS. Description copied below:
MATERIAL: [Face] plastic; [Strap] rubber
WATER-RESISTANT: Yes, to 99ft / 30M
RECOMMENDED USE: Streetwear, sports
MANUFACTURER WARRANTY: 1 Year
better dbl check on that warranty and inspect watch for time piece "popping out" before purchase...also consider an American version...CHEAPLY MADE IN CHINA..CHEAP PARTS and no quality for price
What is the inside measurement of these...
What is the inside measurement of these watches? I am thinking these as gifts for my neices but I am afraid they might be too big. They are 7, 10, 11 years old and very active girls. Thoughts?
I am a bit lanky and have small wrists for a guy. I bought the 18cm and it fit snug. If you were to pick up a 17cm it would probably fit the little ones pretty well.
I mainly bought this watch as a simple substitute because I break watches a lot from being active. This little thing is tough and would definitely stand up to any punishment they could dish out.
dont buy...waste of money...so cheap..our gift was defective and no receipt so stuck with..Not as TOUGH as they say if time piece pops out. Plus find them something made with quality made in U.S...HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND
