The XC Glove is tough.

The Descente XC Glove protects your hands from abrasion and blisters without being restrictively bulky. The pre-curved construction eliminates bunching under your palms, and silicone fingertip grippers allow fatigue-free lever actuation even in wet weather. Kevlar reinforcements at the heel of the palm could stop bullets, so sharp rocks don't stand a chance. *Due to a mid-season update, the gloves you receive may look slightly different from those pictured above. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Decent but bunchy

I agree that these gloves are simple and lightweight. They are definitely good for staying cool. The padding is indeed worthless though. My biggest complaint is without a strap, these things keep bunching up my hand. A minor annoyance, but not what I'm looking for in a glove. I will be getting one that straps on tighter next time. Otherwise, it was actually a good fit--just when I start riding it bunches up.

Descente XC gloves

These are a simple, lightweight full finger glove. The mesh on the back is very thin and cool for warm weather. The palms aren't really padded, but have patches in the usual places. They work great for XC riding, not a Downhill glove.
